Joan and Wenceslas (1355-1406) gold Mouton d'or 1357-1383 VDI o MISЄRЄRЄ o nOB, nimbate Agnus Dei left, head right, a long cross with banner behind; all within a tressure broken by IOh' DVX in the exergue / + XP'C : VIИCIT : XP'C : RЄGИAT : XP'C : IИPЄRAT, cross fleurée with lis in angles; all within a quadrilobe with lis in spandrels. An excellent representative example for the type collector, with some areas of weak strike and modest residual luster. Coin of weight 4.16 grams, though I do not see any evidence of clipping,legend is full, please look at photos. Guaranteed genuine.From recent NYC auction sale of old collection (from a bulk lot!).” |
